A left-field but very welcome choice for this list (Shal and Richard nominated it independently of one another) comes from a band that was supposed to go away after scoring a '90s novelty hit (that'd be Popular). Always Love is a shimmery pop ditty full of peaceful wisdom: "Always love / Even when you oughtta fight."
