Several White Stripes songs emerged as viable candidates, including Fell In Love With a Girl, We're Going To Be Friends, My Doorbell, and You Don't Know What Love Is. So you know a band was pretty important to a decade when people can't agree which of their songs was the best. The Zeppelinesque Seven Nation Army got one extra vote and the nod, fitting since it's the song that pushed the Stripes to that next level of notoriety.
